Munich coupled with Prague make for a great escape that will combine history and fun in these 2 iconic cities.

Prague, the Czech capital with its thousand year old architecture is a beautiful backdrop to start this week off. Prague Castle, Charles Bridge as well as many other sights await us. Prague also has an ever-blossoming restaurant scene that is emerging as one of the must see culinary offerings in Europe.

The Meat of the trip (where Brathendl is the popular dish) is Oktoberfest. The Theresienweise, or Meadow of Therese, plays host to the world’s largest beer festival. The 16 day celebration, with its beer halls and vendors, serves about 6.5 million liters of beer a year and a few years back sold over 775,000 chickens according to DW.

This European “Come for the sights, stay for the party” trip will be sure to stimulate all of your senses.
