Val d’Isere Group Trip
HOTEL ORMELUNE
Let the mountains shake up your senses. Explore another dimension, jam-packed with vibrant fun and intense color. Capture the thrill of the great outdoors and haul it inside to prolong the pleasure: recharge your batteries, discover the pepped up version of the mountain holiday on offer at the Hotel Ormelune, in Val d’Isère, Savoie.
In the center of Val d’Isère’s original village, a stone’s throw from the ski slopes, this family hotel has cast of the clichés to propose 56 rooms reflecting the light-hearted good humor of a clear mountain sky. Named after the Ormelune mountain, the hotel, like its namesake, takes us cheerfully off the beaten track, its imaginative decor and fun-filled comfort a happy alternative to the resort’s more standard hotel offerings.
Vivid colors, a relaxed atmosphere, warmth, and comfort – the Ormelune is all about fun and freedom.
Let the Ormelune lift your spirits to new heights in a realm of radiant good humor that leaves no room for the greyer shades of life.
Courchevel 1650 Ski School is 250 feet from Fahrenheit Seven Courchevel and Courchevel 1650 l’Ariondaz ski elevator can be found within walking distance. The nearest airport is Chambéry-Savoie Airport, 40 mi from the hotel. Geneva Airport is 112 mi away.
Val d’Isere
Val d’Isere is an authentic Alpine village with the facilities and comfort of a large resort. Its baroque church, traditional houses, the surrounding mountains and the Isere river flowing through its center have long been the inspiration for local architects. The village today is made up of an elegant mixture of luxury hotels, holiday residences, traditional alpine chalets built from stone and wood, and some altogether more contemporary structures.
With two-thirds of its ski area situated inside the heart of the Vanoise National Park, Val d’Isere is governed by nature and the rhythm of the seasons. The resort is committed to preserving the biodiversity of the planet by being socially responsible and respectful of the environment.

Kraków
The City’s magic consists of the unique complex of architecture, art, and culture (more than 25% of the resources of the Polish works of art is gathered in Kraków). Thanks to this heritage the City was honored with the title of the European Capital of Culture in 2000. Today Kraków, the former capital of Poland, is one of the most important cultural and tourist centers of the country, and the seat to many cultural institutions, theatres, cinemas, museums and philharmonic that make life pleasant for the inhabitants and over 7 million tourists visiting our City every year. Nowhere in Poland could one find such a rich variety of cultural and artistic events: every year Kraków is host to over 40 festivals like the International Jewish Culture Festival, the Print Triennial, the Sacrum Profanum Festival, and the International Short Film Festival. Every year the City hosts over 2,500 performances and concerts. Kraków is a special place that, like a magnet, attracts the people of culture and art who draw their inspiration from the atmosphere and rich past of the City.
Kraków has many green areas that provide opportunities for recreation and active rest, including the Botanical Garden of the Jagiellonian University and the Zoological Garden in the Wolski forest complex which is a traditional place of recreation for the inhabitants. The rich and constantly expanded recreational base (ice rink, swimming pools, including the Aqua Park, tennis courts, and the network of cycling paths) and other venues encourage people to practice sports and spend their time in the open air.

ENGELBERG SWITZERLAND PRESIDENTS WEEK
Engelberg
Engelberg is not just a winter resort – it’s a winter paradise. The town offers such a variety of things to do that you will be tempted to extend your stay long enough to try everything. The two sides of the valley couldn’t be more different and they provide pure enjoyment to both athletes and those who like to take it slower.
Engelberg: the largest – and as the locals like to boast – probably also the most beautiful ski area in central Switzerland. Spread over an altitude of 2000 meters, there is room for snowboarding, skiing and sledding, a varied winter program to make your holiday exciting. The long, snowy winter begins as early as October and lasts into May. The 35 km of cross-country ski trails meandering through the lovely Engelberg area make cross-country skiing a fantastic experience!
Fresh wind in your hair, glistening snow and sunshine – this is what you expect from sledding fun in Engelberg. Try one – or all – of the three different sledding runs with a total length of 7 km. On Fridays and Saturdays between Christmas and early March the sledding runs are also open at night for a fast downhill run. If you prefer a more quite pace, explore the area around Engelberg on 53 km sign-posted winter hiking trails.

Tokyo
Winter in Tokyo
Defeat the biting cold with hearty food, warm baths, and enchanting holiday illuminations
The chill of winter means you’ll have to come extra prepared to brave the elements, packing scarves, gloves, down jackets, and more. Once you acclimate to the cold, you’ll find the city is full of enchanting spectacles, soothing food, and centuries-old rituals. What’s more, the crisp air, deep blue skies, and minimal rain make for incredible views across the city and surrounding countryside.
Tips:
- With temperatures averaging between 32 to 47 degrees Fahrenheit, be sure to come prepared with a heavy jacket, muffler, and winter cap
- If you’re still having trouble dealing with the chill, go to any convenience store and purchase a box of hokkairo disposable heating pads that you can adhere to the inside of your shoes, gloves, and jackets
- The low humidity in winter results in crystal clear views, so you may be able to see the silhouette of Mt. Fuji from the top of Tokyo Skytree

- Round Trip NYC – Tokyo
