Henry’s love for travel and culture was sparked at an early age, thanks to his parents, who encouraged exploration over typical beach holidays. His passion for adventure truly took off during a six-week World Challenge expedition to Uganda, where he gained invaluable life experience and a newfound appreciation for both the world and the unknown. That journey set him on a path of discovery, leading him to explore over 50 countries and has lived in France, India, Ecuador, and now Japan, where he has been based for the past six years.

His travels have been anything but conventional. One adventure saw him hiking with just a tent from Mexico through Central and South America for over a year, fully immersing himself in the change of landscapes and cultures along the way. His latest journey took him on a year-long overland drive from the UK to Japan, crossing continents and experiencing the world in a way few ever do. Alongside his love for travel, skiing has been a constant. After learning in the French Alps and completing multiple seasons there, he arrived in Japan—only to stumble upon the legendary JaPOW of Niseko!

Now, as our Japan sales specialist at Alpine Adventures, Henry blends his local knowledge with a global perspective, helping travelers experience the very best of Japan’s mountains, culture and hidden gems. For him, every journey is about more than just the destination—it’s about the adventure, the people, and the stories that are discovered along the way.
