Skiing & Snowboarding
Long season and incredible conditions will keep you carving fresh powder from the first snowfall to the late spring….and sometimes deep into summer. With an elevation of a staggering 11,053 feet and an expansive 3,500 acres of skiable terrain, we boast some of the most best conditions you’ll find anywhere.
Scenic Gondola Rides
Take an aerial ride up Mammoth Mountain on the Panorama Gondola to explore all the fun at 11,053 ft. At the top, snap a selfie at the summit sign, enjoy lunch with panoramic views at the Eleven53 Café, and discover the history and wonder of the Sierra at the interpretive center. Up to 2 kids (ages 12 and under) ride free with each paying adult. Free tickets can be obtained at any ticket window.

Kick your winter up a notch and get in great shape this season. Explore the Mammoth Lakes Basin on cross-country skis or snowshoes for some scenic family adventures or butt-kicking fun across 19+ miles (30+ kilometers) of secluded, groomed world-class trails. Rentals, lessons, guided tours and season passes are available from the Tamarack Cross-Country Ski Center, located at Tamarack Lodge.
Explore all the miles of groomed cross-country and snowshoe trails, plus the free Public Access Trail that runs along Lake Mary Road. Be sure to check the trail status and conditions before heading out on your adventure.

Get off the beaten path and take in the scenic sights on a snowmobile adventure through the High Sierra. Mellow cruisers and hard chargers alike will find big fun exploring over 100 miles of tree-lined trails and massive meadows on a guided excursion.
Families, first-timers, and those that like to explore are all welcome to participate. Our guides know the region better than anyone, and can show you Mammoth in a whole new way. Follow them to take in the exceptional views, wide-open meadows, geological points of interest and secret stashes of powder.
Woolly’s Tube Park
Find more massive fun at the revamped Woolly’s Tube Park. Catch a ride to the top on the brand-new Magic Carpet, then mob down even longer lanes in a high-speed snow tube. More lanes mean less wait times, so you can squeeze in laps as fast as you dare. There’s fun for all ages with a viewing area, large snow play area, and a snack bar offering hot cocoa and adult beverages.
Tickets for the tube park come with all-day access to the snow play area. Extend your fun by upgrading your ticket to include a Scenic Gondola Ride.

Uphill Access
Skip the lift and get your lungs burning. We offer 3 uphill routes that are easily accessible from each of our base lodges. Be sure to be in the know of all uphill access rules and safety information, as well as weather and conditions reports before you start ascending.
Mountain Area Tours
Get the inside scoop on what sections of the mountain are best during different snow conditions, as well as where to find specific services on this free ski and snowboard tour led by a Mammoth Mountain Host.
