Telluride Helitrax is Colorado’s ultimate helicopter skiing and snowboarding experience with access to over 200 square miles of untracked and majestic terrain in the San Juan Mountains near Telluride, Colorado. We consistently ski and board off summits and among high alpine basins, cirques, and couloirs. Our premiere Colorado heli-ski terrain is coupled with a crew of expert guides that hand-deliver a truly unforgettable experience like no other.
For the novice skier or non-skiers in your party, try a 15- minute scenic tour flight instead. ICE CLIMBING
There is nothing quite like climbing a frozen waterfall. It is certainly the most fantastic winter adventure in the San Juan Mountains! Using ice axes, crampons, helmets and harnesses, you will have the chance to scale Telluride’s most exquisite ice in some of our region’s most beautiful mountain settings with a mountain guide.
Telluride, Colorado has some of the best ice climbs in the West! Learn new skills or try some new terrain from Ames Falls to Cornet Falls to Bridal Veil Falls to the Ames Ice Hose, a variety of climbs are available for all levels and abilities.
Sun Juan Outdoor Adventures has no hidden fees. All of their ice climbing outings includes professional guiding and instruction never to exceed a 4:1 ratio.
