Growing up in Pennsylvania, I dreamed of ski weekends with friends in the Poconos: cozy lodges, snow gently falling outside, and night skiing as good as anywhere else. Joining the ski industry brought me to Tahoe, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, New York, New Hampshire, Montana, Wyoming, and a five-year stay in beautiful Vermont.

It’s been enlightening to see ski and snowboard travel evolve, with luxury and escapism now a major part of the experience.
